Meet your Therapist

DOUG ~ A lifelong fascination with people—their behaviour, struggles, and inner worlds, has led me to pursue a career in clinical psychology. This curiosity stems from trying to understand others and, in many ways, myself. Life can be tough; I know this first-hand having faced my own share of challenges and profound personal losses.

What drives my work is my ability to connect with others who feel similarly but struggle to find the words to express their experiences. As a communicator and relationship builder, I help clients conceptualise their struggles in ways that resonate with them, empowering them to make choices that address their challenges.

My therapeutic approach is deeply person-centred, influenced by the Rogerian tradition and enriched by a philosophical perspective inspired by thinkers like Irvin Yalom. I also provide evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, to create a safe, understanding space where clients can explore their authentic selves and work toward a more meaningful life.
